What is Bohemia?
Now in its 8th year, the Bohemia Outdoor Cinema welcomes summer in Fremantle
with a selection of the world's finest short and feature films.
Set in Fremantle's historic Princess May Park, the Bohemia Outdoor Cinema is
renowned for its festive vibe along with the most comfortable deckchair seating in the
state.
Guests will be encouraged to enjoy a drink from the Stella Bar and purchase some
of gourmet delights as supplied by local gastronomists, Seafresh.

Gourmet seafood will be sold from a vendor stand, courtesy of Seafresh. The
gastronomic delights go down well with a handcrafted beer, wine or soft drink which
will be available from the Stella Bar.

Bohemia is the biggest and best short film festival in WA. The 2010 program is best
enjoyed with friends, food and wine as you enjoy the relaxed summer vibe.

The WA Screen Awards (WASA) is Perth's premiere film and television event,
celebrating the innovation and achievements of Western Australian filmmakers, from
students through to established industry professionals. This is your chance to check
out the top filmmaking talent in Western Australia and vote for your favorite. The
winner will be announced at the 23rd WASAs on Saturday 6th March 2010 at The
Perth Concert Hall.

Nickelodeon presents a family feast of animation 6 short local animations followed
by the animated feature Ponyo. Jump on the bouncy castle before the screening.

Academy AwardŽ-winning director Hayao Miyazaki ("Spirited Away") takes
moviegoers on a magical new adventure that celebrates the power of innocent love
and the beauty of the natural world in his latest animated triumph, "PONYO." Inspired
by Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale "The Little Mermaid," "PONYO" tells the story
of a young and overeager goldfish named Ponyo and her quest to become human.
An enchanting and visually stunning blend of imagination, humor, action, mystery
and romance.

Come along and see the Perth premiere of the best films submitted to Fremantle's
first short film festival. Thanks to the City of Fremantle and Bendigo Bank, these top
shorts have a chance to win up to $8,500 in prizes.

Chariots of Revolution (PG)
In Turkish with English subtitles
Ticket prices: full $17, concession $13, members $12, Children under 12 $6
An emotional story spanning 130 days behind the first car produced in Turkey in
1961, a year after the military seized power. The film revolves around seven
engineers and their families who believed that proving that a car could be done; and
by doing it a country's destiny could be changed for the better.
Presented with Turkish Australia Culture House, enjoy Turkish music and there'll be
gozleme for sale before the film.

Over The Fence Comedy Special (M)
Including FTI's first film industry comedy debate: Dying is easy Comedy is hard
Come down for the debate at 5pm, have dinner at 7pm and watch the films at
8:30pm. Have you ever wondered what makes a film funny? Our teams fight it out
to find out what does make us laugh and whether WA films can do it. Followed by a
screening of the best films from the 2009 Over The Fence Comedy Film Festival,
you're sure to chuckle.

MovieExtra Tropfest
The world's largest short film festival returns to Fremantle. Featuring the top 16
finalist short films selected from hundreds of entries. Gates open at the special time
of 5:00pm. Patrons are advised to get down early to secure your seat. There will be
food available for sale at the venue, or bring your own picnic, but be aware that the
venue is licensed and strictly NO BYO.
