Fremantle Mayor, Dr Brad Pettitt, is selling off his reserved Mayoral car bay to the highest bidder, so that proceeds can go to the St Patricks Community Care’s Gimme Shelter Appeal.
The bay – situated on the ground floor of the Queensgate Car Park is located in the heart of Fremantle’s thriving CBD, close to South Terrace’s famous “Cappuccino Strip”, as well as an array of boutique shops, eateries, night spots and major tourist attractions.
The winner will receive 12 months’ full access to the bay – which is valued in real terms at around $2,424 annually – as well as peace-of-mind that the exclusive car spot will be available to you seven-days-a-week.

Terms and Conditions
- Permit Vaild from 7.00am on 1st March 2010 until 6pm on 28 February, 2011.
- The car park will be awarded to the highest bid received on or before 5pm on 19 February, 2010. No late bids after this time will be accepted.
- All bids must only be submitted through the nominated email address provided by the City of Fremantle.
- Any bid not forwarded to the nominated email address will be invalid.
- The offer applies only to the carpark space within the Queensgate car park on Henderson Street Fremantle.
- You must only park in the bay nominated by City of Fremantle. Failure to do so may result in an infringement.
- You must use your pass card to enter the Carpark. If you don't the hourly fee will apply.
- The pass card can only be used during the hours that the Carpark is operating.
- You park your vehicle at your own risk.
- No refund will be provided.
- The pass card cannot be used in any other Carpark
- The replacement fee for a lost or damaged card is $20.00
- Only one pass card will be issued.
- You must park at all times in accordance with City of Fremantle Parking Local Laws.
